Over 1400 acres, of which 10 are water, Garner State Park is nestled in the hills of Uvalde County just a few miles north of Concan, TX. Named for former Vice-president of the United States John Nance Garner, sometimes called Cactus Jack, the park was acquired between the years of 1934-1936.
