The camping facilities are maintained by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. A facility map can be downloaded by going to their site and searching for Garner State Park.

Entrance Fees are: $6 per day, per person 13 and older, staying for day use only and $4 per day, per person 13 and older, staying overnight.

Campsites range from $10 per day to $20 per day depending on whether you just want water or water and electricity and where they are located within the park.

Shelters are $20-$25 and Cabins range from $60-$80 depending on the season and whether you require a fireplace.

Maximum Occupants per site is 8 with 2 vehicles.

However excess vehicles may park in overflow parking for a fee of $5 per day.

A State Park parking pass can be purchased at the Texas Parks website

It will cost $60 for a one-card membership and $75 for two cards, but only available for members of the same household.

Gates is open from 8AM to 11PM with check in and check out time being at 2PM.

Peak season is from the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day. Non-peak season is from the Tuesday after Labor Day Through Thursday before Memorial Day.
